Once again thank you to the people who gave up their time to grit our roads when it became icy……as the council will not do this for us!
The gritt bin has now been refilled
Thank you to the team of residents that helped go round and replace the light bulbs that had stopped working!
Thank you to those people who donated £20 to purchase a new light bulb!
It is the people who are willing to give/ help that make our community a better place for ALL of us to live in.

I wonder what is going on at the council, it seems they (Balfour Beatty) were on the street today changing light bulbs (well at least one). I was so surprised I took a photo of them doing it.
Hello my names Steve i live at 26 28 i have just received a letter through the post asking for money for lightbulbs. The thing is me and my Neighbours have no idea who or what is the “Little Manea Residents Comittee” is. I have some question’s and i will be knocking some doors in the near future.
1. Who are you
2. Who appointed you
3. When are your meetings
4. Who voted you to your position’s
5. If you represent Little Manea wha issue’s do you disscuss
6. Who do you disscuss them with
7. I got an Address for my money but no name, so how is it spent
8. When is it spent
9. Are the books avaiilable at any time
10. How far along are we with getting our road adopted
11. What steps have been taken so far
12. Do we have legal representation
13 Who will carry out said works
14. Who are the Volounteers
These are just the first round of questions that every resident on the estate should be made aware of and have a right to the answers to , espescially if your acting in their name and on there behalf with any serious fashion
A residents commitee is a positive thing but everyone should be informed on current issue’s and allowed to have there say not just the few.
I look forward to hearing from you and please feel free to knock my door anytime and have a chat about the current situation, not just posting letters asking for money.
Hi Steve,
Welcome to Charlemont Drive. I’m not part of the resident committee, but I do run an Oil Syndicate for the street, so if you are interested in joining I can forward you further details. This a relatively recent thing, started last year, but we do on average save over 1p a litre on our deliveries.
